I recently attended a conference amongst the rolling hills outside of Austin, TX where we had the opportunity to do the trapeze. About ten brave souls of ages 11-70 wandered out to the trapeze rig to spend the afternoon learning some of the fundamentals of the art of flying. Peter Gold, our facilitator/instructor, took us through enough of the basics of the trapeze that in a little over an hour we were all outfitted with the proper safety gear and ready to go. We then lined up, in order of our personal courage
